Currently, the manufacturing processes for thin-walled bobbin tubes domestically and internationally can be categorized into two types. The first involves an embedding process with an additional wear-resistant material bushing, which is troublesome to implement and results in higher manufacturing costs. The second method employs direct integral molding using materials such as ABS, PPO (Polyphenylene Oxide), or high-molecular PC (Polycarbonate). When the integral injection molding process is adopted for bobbins, provided the material quality is assured, the issues of breakage and cracking at the contact point between the bobbin and the spindle's "cat's eye" can be essentially controlled. During repeated use, however, bobbin tubes made from PC or ABS materials can still develop cracks and fractures due to the inherent material issue of a fatigue period. To effectively improve this situation, PPO material is the preferred choice as it resolves cracking and fracturing, thereby extending the service life. Additionally, bobbins should be placed in an oven at 80°C–90°C for 3–4 hours every six months to eliminate the drawbacks associated with this material application, allowing for the release of internal stresses and significantly prolonging the bobbin's service life.
